- Privacy Mark Certification Acquired

In compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law we have set up substantial in-house security measures to protect the privacy of our clients. As a result of this, we received certification from JIPDEC on the 20th of April 2004. From the 10th of May 2004 we were granted permission to use the "Privacy Mark", in recognition of the strength of our security measures.
To receive such an award from a neutral third party is a great honour for us and we will continue to strive even harder to ensure that our client`s information remains securely protected in all matters.

- Management of entering and leaving a room using contactless IC card.
We introduced the management system of entering and leaving a room using contactless IC card in every office. The doors are consistently locked, and can only be opened by card.
All the ID information of staff is registered into the card,so that their entrance and exit data are controlled by management system. In case of someone losing their card, the lost card can not be used immediately. Moreover, only a few people are able to access the management system, and it is not possible to log in if there is no special key.
- About the door checker of each floor
There are Web cameras around the door of each floors to keep constant record of movements.
- Fingerprint authentication
In addition to the entrance and exit management system, we have high security system `Fingerprint authentication`. Only a few people were registered (2% of all the employees).
- IC card is used to start the terminal.
The Navi-Telephony terminal requires the use of an IC card to login to the system and confirm the password. The IC card is different from magnetic card. It is difficult to be skimmed or counterfeited, so that Navi-Telephony is a business system with high safety.
- Used for thin client terminal
Computer storage devices such as floppy-disks, USB, and so on cannot be used.
We have a full-blown system to control the taking out of data used for business and input of malicious program or data.
It excels in availability, and is easy to set up in other offices. In case a breakdown occurs, we can exchange it immediately.
- Data center of ISMS recognition
controls the thin client and DB server that controls the personal information, is set up in the data center of ISMS recognition. There are 5 doors from the entrances to the server rack, two of them are on manned watch, two others need fingerprint authentication. Therefore, it's simply not possible to take anything out.
According to fingerprint authentication, only 1% of all the members were registered, However it is not possible to enter and exit the data center without permission.
- Connection between all our offices
There are large area Ethernet connections between the data center, Sapporo, Sendai and Osaka office, and IP-VPN connections between Iwamizawa and Tokyo office. Moreover, there are firewalls between each center, controlled by Network traffic. Therefore, the connections from outside to our company`s network are restricted as well as the E-mail and file server from the company to outside.
- Limitation of Web site inspection
Viruses from the internet can be prevented by inspecting only a necessary domain for the business. Moreover, writing messages to blogs or bulletin boards through internet is restricted. Therefore, unintended divulging of information can be prevented.
